    The TDS™ Small Format line of custom heat transfers for textiles included below will give you the ability to satisfy the most demanding of customers. Please review the various type of heat transfer in the TDS™ line. Should there be any questions, give us a call.

    HS - Hot Split: AKA Hot Peel
    HS is a hot split transfer with a soft hand, and a hot peel application process. It is an excellent choice for decorating cotton, cotton blended and fleece fabrics. Its semi opaque inks cover well on white, heather, light and medium color fabrics without leaving any rubbery or patchy feel. A perfect fit for a direct print look with transfer flexibility.

    Recommended use: distressed and multi-color graphics (up to six colors) with soft hand direct print look.

    CP - Cold Peel:
    CP is an opaque transfer designed to leave smooth matte finish, apply easily and cold peel. It is an excellent choice for decorating cotton, cotton blended and fleece fabrics. Its bright opaque inks cover well on all colors of fabric. A perfect fit for a vintage transfer look.

    Recommended use: multi-color graphics (up to six colors)

    DuraTrans™:
    DT DuraTrans™ transfers are opaque transfers designed to leave a smooth matte finish, apply easily and cold peel. These transfers are bleed resistant and have a low application temperature. An excellent choice for decorating polyester, Lycra, rib knit and textured fabrics. Its bright opaque inks cover well on all colors of fabric.

    Recommended use: multi-color graphics (up to six colors) for application to technical fabrics.

    Glitter:
    Glitter transfers are glossy metal flake transfers. They are opaque, peel cold, and have exception adhesive properties. A perfect fit for today’s fashion forward designs.

    Recommended use: single color graphics that have a shiny look and light reflective qualities (1 color only).

    Digital:
    Digital transfers bring the ultimate in high resolution digital graphics to a hot peel transfer. These high quality graphics are designed for white and light colored fabrics and apply to most cotton and cotton blended fabrics. The solution for small quantities of multi-color and four color process graphics projects.

    Recommended uses: photographic and photo-realistic images in addition to multi-color graphics over six colors (4-Color Process only).

  • What are the accepted art file types?
    Art will be accepted in:

    FreeHand (.fh11)
    Illustrator (.ai)
    GIF (.gif)
    TIFF (.tif)
    JPEG (.jpg)
    EPS (.eps)
    Photoshop (.psd)

    Art must be in vector form or in high resolution pixel form. High resolution, in pixel form, is considered to be 300-dpi at actual printed size.
    Vector art is resolution independent. We suggest that you convert fonts to outlines or paths prior to submission to eliminate error resulting from font differences. Back To Top
  • How long does it take to get transfers?
    All jobs take different amounts of time. We strive to turn your orders as soon as possible. Most orders take 5-7 days from approved art. Some orders can be had in as little as 3 days from approved art. Back To Top

    What is the size of each design?

    Do the designs resemble a photo or painting or does it contain specific solid colors?

    What are the colors in each design if they are spot colors?

  • What is the difference between large format and small format custom transfers?
    Large Format
    Larger format printing use larger sheets.
    The minimum sheet run size is 500 sheets.
    Piece counts vary depending on the size of the art.
    The services available for art preparation are extensive.
    There is a broad range of product types available.
    Turn around times are not as fast as small format

    Small Format
    Small format printing uses smaller sheets.
    The minimum order is $100.00. There is no minimum quantity.
    Art submitted must be camera ready.
    Product types are more limited than large format printing.
